Public Education

Woodside Fire Protection District offers an extensive Public Education program to their residents. For more information on how you can utilize WFPD, contact Public Education Officer/CERPP Coordinator, Selena Brown at 650-423-1406.

Some programs offered are:

  • Fire Extinguisher Training – NEW BULLEX TRAINING SIMULATOR
  • Senior Fall/Injury Prevention
  • Home Safety Checks
  • Girl/Boy Scout Fire Safety
  • Proper use of 9-1-1
  • How to make a fire escape plan
  • Proper smoke alarm installation and maintenance
  • How to escape from a fire (using our Fire Safety Trailer)
  • Tools Not Toys (kindergarten)
  • Firefighters are our Friends (Pre-K)
