Public Education

Woodside Fire Protection District offers an extensive Public Education program to their residents. For more information on how you can utilize WFPD, contact Public Education Officer Selena Brown at 650-423-1406.

Some programs offered are:

  • Fire Extinguisher Training – NEW BULLEX TRAINING SIMULATOR
  • Senior Fall/Injury Prevention
  • Home Safety Checks
  • Girl/Boy Scout Fire Safety
  • Proper use of 9-1-1
  • How to make a fire escape plan
  • Proper smoke alarm installation and maintenance
  • How to escape from a fire (using our Fire Safety Trailer)
  • Tools Not Toys (kindergarten)
  • Firefighters are our Friends (Pre-K)
