Fire Safety in Your Home
Keeping your family safe within your home is highly regarded by the District. Make sure your home is safe by:
- Check that your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms are working.
- Clear your exits and make sure they are easily accessible if an emergency is to occur.
- Designate an area for your emergency go bag to live, ensure that it is close to your primary exit.
- Know how to use electrically controlled exit points if the power goes out, such as garage doors or security gates.
