What we do in Finance:

  • Maintain day-to-day financial control and assure that all finances are properly administered (including payroll, pension reporting, account payable/receivable.
  • Report to the Chief and the Board of Directors, on a monthly basis with prepared budget reports, periodic analysis and forecasting, and other relevant items.
  • Compile the annual budget for Board approval.
  • Develop and maintain external relationships with appropriate contacts e.g., auditors, bankers, actuaries, and other cities/districts.
  • Manage grants and mutual aid reimbursements.
