The IT division of the Woodside Fire Protection District is responsible for acquiring and maintaining all of our various devices such as computers and iPads, as well as the purchasing and maintenance of a variety of software applications that we utilize on a daily basis. This includes software used by our front-line apparatus computer, our Reporting Management System (RMS); which is a required State and Federal reporting system, district mapping, preplanning, emergency medical system (EMS) reports writing and documentation, mobile incident command and management system, district personnel-staffing, fire inspections, fire investigations and plan review. It is the responsibility of this division to continually look for new ways to improve our technological capabilities to ensure that all our District Divisions and employees have the most current tools and technology available to complete their training, operational requirements, and daily tasks.
