The Home Self-Assessment program enables homeowners to take preventative measures for their home and yard to protect against wildfire. This checklist will guide you through required actions to help protect your home and prepare for your annual home assessment inspection with a Fire Inspector.

The checklist prepares the home’s exterior, and maintaining the deck/covered porch and yard, in accordance to Fuel Mitigation Ordinance No. 24-01. In addition, it assists in the recommendations for hardening your structures, identifying vulnerabilities that may lead to ignition of your home or any other structures on your property during a wildfire.
